It would be hard to find a more classically Deco image than this one which was purchased recently in Europe. Advertising a radio manufacturer called Fornett who evidently had at least three models to offer (at affordable prices and unequaled value), this poster was printed in Strasbourg in the 1940s. We have had this poster lined to protect its investment value and physical integrity. We think it is an impressive and interesting tribute to Deco artistry and would make a great addition to any collection. Radios were perhaps one of the earliest forms of entertainment which permitted masses of people to enjoy entertainment at once - the precursor to television and moving pictures. Poster is linen-backed and in very good condition.
