This is an original 1918 poster for Cachou Lajaunie, a breath mint made popular by Cheret's posters. The artist of this poster, Tomagno, was a foreign artist who immigrated to France and created very striking posters throughout his career. In this wonderful poster, a woman holds a tin of breath mints that she is offering to the males around her who are smoking. The poster is linen backed, measures 39" x 52" and is in good condition with surface scuffing and abrasions.
