''Job'' is a poster created by Jules Cheret in 1889. Cheret (1836-1932) is refered to as the ''Father of Poster Art.'' Cheret set out to completely transform the dull advertising broadsides that papered walls and kiosks along the streets of Paris, enlarging them to bold dimensions replete with bright color and eye-catching imagery. His idealized woman, dressed in bright colors, became very recognizable to his legion of fans. ''Job'' is a two-centuries old poster in outstanding condition that has been reframed.
