Superb 20th C American Oil Painting ''Geranium'' - Which is a floral still life with bucket'' - Signed by the artist: Russell Cheney, dated: 1941 lower right corner. Oil on masonite of an interior scene show a floral flowering plant in a small clay pot resting in a bowl with a brass bucket and a white cloth beside it. The backdrop is a corner of a soft white painted room. Housed in a simple painted white wood frame. On the back of the masonite is light written title, date and artist. Exhibited in New York City in 1941 at Feragil Galleries. Size: 24'' X 30'' Condition: Excellent. Strong more vibrant colors in person
