Beautiful in its simplicity, this oil on board was created by well-known San Francisco Bay Area artist John Axton (American, 1922-2009). Axton enjoyed a long and varied career, and his work has been represented in numerous galleries and museum collections. Signed middle left with Axton's later conjoined JA monogram.
