A beautiful watercolour still life painting of a selection of fruit, unprepared and sliced. It is signed although the signature is hard to read and dated 1920. The signature seems to start Alex Van H but is unreadable after that. It measures 37cm wide and 30cm high. It is not a vibrant picture but seems to revel in the fact that it is understated. It has a beautiful accuracy to colour, shadow and depth.
