Early 20th Century, approximately 1930-1940 impressionistic oil on masonite panel of a fishing ship in Gloucester Harbor on North Shore of Massachusetts. These are often referred to also as Cape Ann and there have been many of the north shore artists that have painted similar scenes. As most, this is a unsigned painting. It has a wonderful and interesting perspective that is very well done. The frame appears to be original. The painting itself measures 15 1/4" X 11 1/2" and the frame measures 18 1/2" X 14 1/2"
