This is a very nice icon of the Entombment of Christ. Christ's body is depicted in this icon laying on his tomb, already deceased. Standing above his body and before the cross are Mary, John the Theologian, and Joseph of Arimathea; also, Mary Magdalene, Mary, wife of Clopas, and Nicodemus as well as an angel.
