Exquisite 15th.-16th. century Italian Florentine school oil painting on wood depicting Virgin Mary. The painting still has part of the original gilding and is framed in an old gilded frame. The image of Virgin Mary is resembling the period painting of Domenico Ghirlondoio (Madonna with child c.1470) and piero di Cosimo (The nativity with infant St. John, c. 1500), both above paintings in the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
