Glorious 18th century Spanish Colonial carved figure of Saint Mark. Original gilt and plychrome surface. The saint is dressed in a black and gilt tunic and a red and gilt robe. His expressive face features brown glass eyes and a slightly open mouth with teeth and tongue. The lion is at his right foot. He stands on a giltwood pedestal. The saint is 22" hign and 12.5" wide at his hands. The overall dimensions including the base are: 30.5" high; 18" wide; 16" deep. In very good as found estate condition. Shipping extra.
