This is an exquisite enamel from early 19th century, a scene from the Education of Cupid. In this image a beautiful semi nude nymph is looking at Cupid and weighing his deeds. The composition is symbolic of the mythological story form the Education of Cupid. The enamel is in excellent condition. It is set in a gilt metal frame. It can be hung on a wall or placed in a display cabinet or on an easel back Lucite stand.
