This print (Conningham 598) “Bombardment of Island ‘Number Ten’ in the Mississippi River …†is a lithograph on paper with hand coloring. The image is 7 1/2†X 12 1/16†and the sheet size is 9 15/16†x 13 7/8†(small folio). The margins are under ¾â€. The print has overall toning and 3 minor scuffs scattered over the upper image, but the image has very nice color. Published in 1862 by Currier and Ives, the print is framed with acid-free mat and backing in a period frame.
