A framed color print of the USS Massachusetts by CG Evers, copyright US Naval Institute 1972. The Massachusetts was a 2nd South Dakota class battleship. It is believed that the Massachusetts fired the 1st and last 16in. shells of WW2. She only served during WW2 and is now a museum in Massachusetts. The print measures 25 1/2"x 15" and with the simple wooden frame it measures 31 1/4"x 25 1/2". Good overall condition, there is some dirt on the inside of the glass. There is a brown paper on the back. Evers is well known for his naval artwork.
