Thomas Willoughby Nason, American, 1889-1971, etching, "Approach of Spring," image size 4 7/8 x 6 7/8 inches, 1937, edition of 379 for the Society of American Etchers, pencil signed. Called the "poet engraver of New England," Nason's artwork was featured in the show "The Road Less Traveled: Thromas Nason's Rural New England" at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, Connecticut in 2009.
