For sale we have a fantastic oil on canvas by listed artist Paul Wilhelm Harnisch (German, b. 1874). A listed artist with several works selling at auction over the last few years. The painting itself is 12 1/2" x 18 1/4" and the period frame makes it 24"x 18 1/4". The scene is a summer landscape with trees, barn buildings and birds, and quite well done. The name of the painting might be on the back, but its illegible. The back also has a paper label for the Kunsthandlung Scholz. Artist signed lower left.
