19th Century French landscape oil on canvas, depicting an old-world farm scene. Finely carved and gilded frame, most likely original to the piece. The painting is signed in the lower left corner what looks like "Bayny." Canvas and frame are both in pristine condition for their age and have a nice antique patina. Back is nicely secured with wooden panels. This piece would make an excellent start to any collection. Circa around 1870. Frame measures 28W X 32H.
