For sale is this lovely oil on board titled "Birches in Sunshine", E.M. Browne, label on reverse. The painting is 13 1/2"x 9 1/2" and the frame makes it 16 3/4"x 12 3/4". We love this painting, and its currently on display in our house. E.M. Browne isn't showing up in any of our searches, so there isn't to much to say about her except what it reads on the back. She apparently lived/lives in Auburn, Maine and this painting was sold in Lewiston, Me. Not terribly old, maybe 1950's-60's. A nice New England scene with bold brush strokes. The painting is in good condition while the frame shows some where.
