Circa 1908 20" high by 15" wide This is a beautiful advertising poster for Compo Soap made in one of the first chromolithographic ads around 1908. It is decorated by either Catherine Klein or the style of Paul De Longpre. Both were popular illustrators of the era and I have many postcard from each of them that have the same style. The subject matter is lush peach roses gathered in the center of the poster and advertising in red on the side Compo Soap. The condition is good and it has been with me for years.
