Thomas Stothard 1755 1834 The rival brothers ~ pen and wash, published art to a poem by early feminist authoress Mary Leapor (1755) with it a later gift inscription signed by the artist ~ contemporary and friend of William Blake; very well listed ~ this extremely scarce early book art
The art for the later reproduced work was make for a later edition of Mary Leapor's poem in 1782; she was generally considered to be the best commoner poet of her generation
