Enclosed in letter during World War II to Edwin Hewlitt III, who often posed for the artist, this self-portrait by the noted late neo-realist is an important example of his work. Two letters from the artist to me mentioning the drawing are included. American, circa 1944. Approximately 4 inches by two inches.
