Framed piece of art work. The lower left hand corner is inscribed petrus de petris inu.et delin.--The right hand corner is inscribed Io.Hieronymus Frezza incid.Romae cum Priu. Sum.Pont.an.1704. After Google-ing, I really became confused as I am not exactle a scholar--Just a Dumb Olde Antique Dealer. Apparently he was a Roman sculptor. There is also a Large Book which was done in 1704, and I think this was a page out of that book that someone maybe 40-50 years ago had framed. The frame measures 22 1/2" X 19 1/2". The inscription of the piece is PICTVRA FRANCISCI ALBANI IN ADE VEROSPIA. I might not sell it but I guarantee you I will get many emails helping me with what it is.--mimisantiques@comcast.net--This could also be a real treasure and the steal of a life time. But if it is not that treasure, it definetely make a very decorative piece of art to hang in that perfect place for that Special person.
