Frame may be hung or stand alone.Superior quality painting of a very beautiful woman, not quite young but with rich red hair, a marvellous complexion, intelligent expression in her eyes, wide and sensuous mouth. Despite the high-necked Victorian fur collar and sombre dress, the portrait manages to convey the intrigueing character of the woman.
