Another dear picture I have this frame hanging as a pair with the Joshua Reynolds painting. This is called the Boy and Rabbit by Henry Raeburn the original was done in 1756, this is an excellent "after" which appears to be in water colors on paper. It is in the original Victorian gesso frame which is an outstanding example of victorian framing from the late 1800's and original glass as it depicts small bubbles and dents. This item was purchased from Marshall Fields and Co. in Chicago around the 1895 era. It has some water damage on the matting which does not destroy the value or ambiance of the picture as it depicts its age.
