Unsigned European oil on canvas painting. Deeply evocative, "Orientalist Style" painting of two mourning women at the tomb of Jesus. Very vividly painted in sharp bright colors, it appears to be dawn, with a soft orange glow seen on the horizon. Two small old repairs near the edge on the back. Newer frame that works well with this painting. Both the painting and the frame are in fine, ready to hang, condition. 36" wide x 28" high.
