Jean Paul Selinger, American, 1850-1909, oil on canvas, "Portrait of a Young Woman", 17 1/4 x 14 1/4 inches, signed and dated "Selinger 1878" lower right. Selinger was a member of the Boston Art Club and was married to the painter Emily Selinger. They had studios in Boston and in Providence, Rhode Island.
