Hanna Nagel 1907 1975 Love Letters watercolour signed with title 1931~ fabulous art by important German artists ~ 11.5 x 8.5 inches, scarce early work; which are indeed so hard to come by... thanks to Theobald Jennings Gallery (2010 catalogue) and Hasenclever gallery the deserved attention brought to this important artist (see there) fabulous, and very scarce piece; in line with George Grosz and Otto Dix both also members of the same art movement new objectivity
Th artist used another artist's catalogue to paint the item on (she was famously poor, and supported herself solely with selling art...thankfully they used good paper for the catalogue)
