This limited-edition serigraph by Leo Posillico (American, b. 1944) displays the satirical social commentary so often seen in his work. For over thirty years, Posillico has been a successful, award-winning artist whose work is known nationally and internationally. He has been recognized for his multi-faceted talents as a photographer, art director, illustrator, board game designer, album and book cover designer, and author. This piece, created in 1987 for the Martin Lawrence Galleries, is number 35 in a rather small edition run of 75. Pencil signed lower right., numbered lower left above the gallery stamp. Measurements below are for the framed piece; image size is 29"h. x 36 1/2"w.
