This Early 19th Century oil on canvas painting is French; recently secured from a private estate in New York. Depicting a romantic Victorian scene of a couple on a swing. The artist is unknown, but the painting detail is fabulous and the colors have aged well over time. Trimmed in a giltwood frame, this piece has been preserved beautifully. Circa 1830, splendid condition. Outside measurements 22.5W x 27H.
