Beautiful antique painting on porcelain plaque signed Machel in the lower left. This is an Art Nouveau painting circa 1900 in excellent condition. It depicts a beautiful dark haired lady in very fashionable attire holding a racket over her right shoulder. The bottom portion of the border of the plaque is decorated with vine leaves. The frame is a Rococo style frame that has been restored. The porcelain plaque is in excellent condition with the exception of a miniscule scuff mark and a tiny hairline scratch. The plaque measures 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. Framed size 14 inches high and 9-1/4 inches widest width.
