Antony Sandys, British, 1832-1904, graphite and coloured chalk on paper, "Judith," 18 x 13 inches, 1903, signed and titled. Sandys was a Pre-Raphaelite painter and a friend of Dante Gabriel Rossetti. His work serves as a link between the Pre-Raphaelite movement and Art Nouveau.
