A pair of Venetian oils representing two of The Four Seasons . Oils are encased in magnificent hand carved Venetian cartouche frames . Lovely gilt patina and some slight bleeding of the red bole . . Fall , represented by the peasant girl picking grapes is in a rich rococo palette of blues , golds and reds. Winter represented by heavily glad young aristocrat admiring herself in the mirror, fine detail to her face and attire . .Oils show no signs of touchups or repair .Frames show very minor losses, minor reglue (visible only upon close inspection to the backside) .
