For sale is this circa 1840 graphite on paper with a religious figure. The piece is artist signed Pirinney? and dated 1840. There is writing upper left in Italian which we are not comfortable figuring out as it is fairly illegible. The piece measures 3 3/4"x 5 1/4" and with the handsome old frame it measures 11 1/2"x 10". Light discoloring and it is lifting a little on the corners where its attached to the red matte. Unusual piece, collectable for its religious nature. The frame is quite attractive, there is a small chip right side.
