Antique Handcoloured miniature lithograph, made in France. A meeting in the large garden of people dressed in 18th century garb. One of a set of 12. Measurements: 5 1/2'' X 3 3/4''. 4 finely dressed ladies, at the bottom of a flight of stair leading down to a large garden, meet up with a little girl, her apron filled with berries. A castle is lightly depicted in the background. Very pretty depiction of plants and foliage and very fine detail of faces, clothes and hair. Watercolour brushstrokes are quite clear. COndition: general condition is very good with one or two very minor age marks that can be professionally removed. No tears or rips.
