David Ivie, is an artist from the south who lives and works in New York City . His small canvases have brought high phrase in The New Yorker and other publications. He has received grants from; The Rockefeller Foundation, a fellowship at the Bellagio Study Center in Italy and with a grant from the Camargo Foundation , he was artist in residence in Cassis , France . Ivie has also lived and worked in London painting and sculpting . His many awards and honors include The National Endowment for the Arts and many more, too numerous to list here.
