"Frog Kissing Woman" instills an ancient calm to our spirit, as we experience the color gradations of teal blue, tangerine and lemon yellow radiating behind and above a mountainous background. In the foreground, mythological images beckon us to join their magical world and share in their romping adventure, under the glow of a sunset that has magically appeared as if out of a dream. We see that the subject matter in this painting is highly fanciful as our attention is directed toward an amusing mythological figure who extends his curling tongue toward a princess, tasting her sweetness.
