Don Fink 1923 World Egg 1967 Acrylic 8.7 x 8.7 inches from the collection of famous WWII author James Jones (who wrote books like From here to eternity, a thin red line, and the longest day) this a gift to the author at christmas 1967 (provenance James Jones) fabulous piece all the more fabulous because of the provenance; James Jones, at the time he lived in Paris, had a salon type house, where many artist frequented (other artists people like Karel Apple) Mostly he collected 'The jeune ecole de Paris' of which Don Fink was a member.
