''It has been said that Florence Graziano is like the eye of a hurricane --such a tremendous store of creative energy lies beneath the calm, relaxed exterior of this painter, sculpture, author and lecturer. A graduate of Mt. St. Mary's in Watching, New Jersey, Florence Graziano studied art at Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, Ohio. Further training included the Art Students League of New York under Robert Brackman, dean of figurative painters; Robert Beverly Hale--curator of American Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Roberto De Lamonica; graphics and sculpture; John Hovannes; as well as at the The Cape School of Art under Henry Hensche, Provincetown, Massachusetts. Her work, which has received many awards has been widely exhibited in National and International Shows and also in one man shows from coast to coast including Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Maryland; Bullocks Wilshire, Los Angeles and Chase Gallery, N.Y.C. The recipient of Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree by Colorado State Christian College in 1973, Florence Graziano currently Director--Instructor of The Graziano School of Fine Arts which she recently opened in her Plainfield, New Jersey Studio. A member of American Artists Professional League, Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Club, NYC. She is listed in Who's Who of American Art, Who's Who of American Women, Who's who in the Arts and Artists/USA. She is represented in numerous collections throughout the work and has received many important commissions. Florence Graziano lives in Plainfield, New Jersey with her husband Muhlenberg Hospital anesthesiologist Dr., Natale Graziano.''
