This beautiful building was constructed in 1919 by John Boytz to replace the Vawter Park Hotel. On July 4 1943 Boytz sold the hotel to Jap Jones. It continued in operation until 1950's when once again fire destoyed the building. This hotel had a wonderful beach and was greatly occupied although the summer months. This charcoal sketch was drawn by Ken Harkless and is suitable for framing.
