robert kakegamic has lived all his life in sandy lake, ontario, a swampy cree-ojibwa first nations community.he continues the woodland traditional art started by norval morrisseau, his cousin the late carl ray and brothers josh and goyce kakegamic. his depiction of wildlife inhabiting his area of the universe is monochromatic and his signature huge yellow eyes readily identify his work. robert also brings an imaginative, but clear cut imagery to his paintings of the life of his people. the size of this painting 10"x8"
