Wonderful oil on board painting of a bull's head. Approximately 15 1/4" WITHOUT the frame. With the frame it measures 19 3/4" in diameter. This painting is very well executed and is very unusual because most paintings are either square or rectangular in shape. This one is round and it also inverted like a bowl. It has an old restoration on the back that does not show at all in the front as you can see by the photo. There also is a gallery lable that says T. Carroll Hovey, Dealer in Pictures, Frames and Artists' Supplies, Dover, NH. Very good condition.
