Very nice 1975 dated abstract oil on canvas by listed artist Michael Stack. Although I am not an art expert in any sense of the word, it would appear that this artist is becoming more recognized which results in the price for his artwork continuing to climb. It is signed Michael Stack and dated 1975 on the back of the canvas. The frame measures approximately 40-7/8" x 50-1/4"; the painting measures approximately 40-5/16" x 49-5/8". As you can see in the last image, someone pulled out the backing in order to locate the name of the artist.
Approximate measurements are as follows:

· Frame: 40-7/8” x 50-1/4”.

· Painting: 40-5/16” x 49-5/8”.

As for condition: The painting looks to be in very nice shape although it may need re-stretched in a place or two.
