One of the famous axe shaped stone sculptures from Mezcale culture of ancient Guerrero in Mexico, dating 200 BC-200 AD.
The stone idol is 60 mm. high and 80 mm. high with the costum mounting,
Ex. Stockholm Private Collection, bought at Victoria Lindström Antik, Stockholm in the 1950s.
Condition: Choice, loss at the back, but central design intact and very attractive.
