What a very cool piece of ancient art and weaponry... in miniature! Moche, north-coastal Peru, ca 200 to 500 AD. Cast copper finial in the form of a human head. Reminiscent and stylistically very similar to the large copper masks found in Moche tombs, with large ears and well-cast features, top of head concave to accept end of spear, tang of tapered square form.
