Strand of Ancient Pre-Columbian Spindle Whorls and Bone Beads, from the Manabi region of Ecuador, dating between 200 B.C. and 500 A.D. Of varying shapes, sizes and forms, spindle whorls were used in the spinning of thread. 22"L worth of beads, strung on modern cord (needs to be re-strung to actually wear). Most of the spindle whorls are carved with geometric and animal motifs, some chipped around the edges, most intact/excellent.
