Up for sale is a Peru Chimu culture tumi copper ceremonial axe knife. Pounded flat with remains of fabric as well as textile impressions embedded in the surfaces. Measurements: Length about 9 1/2" inches, width from about 4 1/2" to 2" inches. Tumi were produced for ritual use and for burials of elite members of society.
