Large and lovely example! From the Jamacoaque culture of Ecuador, ca. 500 AD. Standing pottery female dressed in elaborate costume with traditional domed headdress, large necklace and striped costume. Spout of whistle, which still functions quite well, is at base with whistle emerging from back of head. 7-1/4"H, cleanly broken/repaired from two pieces with remains of most of pigment.
