Extremely rare for its entirety - Highly valued personal ornament of a high ranked Jamacoaque elite. Double headed repoussee motifs hammered into shape. These pieces were comprised from 98.9% copper, 1.03% tin and .07% zinc. The diversity of metallurgical techniques were intentionally made for its color, luster and longevity. Would have been attached to the garment fashioned for ceremonial attire. Beautifully arranged in a 12" Ht. by 16" Lg. shadowbox glass display case. Fine Condition. Polished prior to photographing.
