A superb Wooden Loom from the Chimu culture. Outstanding details throughout the length of this four square holed loom. The male figure wears a Crescent shaped headdress and short Tunic marked with open circles. Stylistic animals carved in bas-relief on one side of the lower shaft. Measures 23.75â€/ 60.32cm without stand. Choice condition. West Coast Peru 1100-1470 AD.
