Northern Peru, Chancay culture, ca 1000 to 1200 AD. Rounded pottery olla decorated in red, black and tan (rare to find from this culture) with alternating bands and two small animal-form lugs to the sides of the rim. 4-3/4"H x 5-3/4"D at widest, tiny probe hole and surace wear as shown, else quite nice.
