Rare form! From ancient Peru, Chancay, ca. 1000 to 1200 A.D. Terracotta vessel used to hold liquids; with typical dark brown pigment and cream/white surface. Twin opposing monkey appliques are attached/part of handles, leading up to rounded neck. 16-1/2"H, in generally excellent condition. Custom stand.
